Supported Holidays

Unwind, and create unforgettable memories…

At Flourish United, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to explore, unwind, and create unforgettable memories - and we’re here to make that possible.

Our supported holidays are personalised travel experiences designed for people who may need extra assistance to travel safely and comfortably. Whether you're dreaming of a peaceful coastal escape, a nature retreat, a small group getaway, or an exciting city adventure, each trip is thoughtfully planned in collaboration with you and tailored to your interests, goals, and support needs.

It’s time to relax and explore…

From building your itinerary to coordinating accommodation, meals, transport, activities, and support — we take care of the details so you can focus on what matters most: relaxing, exploring, and enjoying the journey.

We offer a range of options:

  • Solo travel with support – enjoy independence while receiving the help you need

  • Group getaways – travel with like-minded peers on fun, social trips

  • Custom trips – design a tailored holiday with friends or family

What’s Included?

We work with you to plan a safe, enjoyable and memorable holiday. Your support can include:

  • Assistance with booking travel and accommodation

  • Budgeting and planning with your NDIS funding

  • Support worker assistance during the trip (including personal care, daily living tasks, mobility and social support)

  • Help with meals, transport, and holiday activities

  • 24/7 or overnight support (as required)

  • Specialist equipment coordination (if needed)

We also coordinate with families or support coordinators to ensure all aspects of your trip are arranged smoothly.

NDIS & Supported Holidays

Your NDIS plan may be used to fund the support component of your holiday.

This includes:

  • The support worker’s time (personal care, community participation, etc.)

  • Any additional accessibility-related expenses directly linked to your disability

Please note: General travel expenses like flights, accommodation, meals, entertainment, and your support worker’s travel costs must be privately covered. We can assist you in understanding what parts of your trip may be covered and how to use your funding effectively.

So, all you really need to do is pack your bag and get ready for a fun-filled, relaxing break. We’ll take care of the rest!
